Working with Rewards Consulting has revolutionised our approach to reward and recognition allowing us to focus on motivating staff to achieve, rather than relying on the traditional carrot and stick approach. Michael’s credibility and experience were invaluable in managing the change within the organisation.

Michael brought a depth of expertise to our project which he applied in a pragmatic and commercial manner. This enabled him to engage with a large number of stakeholders, give them confidence in the change and provide assurance in the technical aspects of the change. He delivered a great result.

David Mead, Chief Operating Officer, Aon Limited
Michael has developed some very innovative and pragmatic changes to the Aon UK reward programmes which have both given choice to our 5,000 employees as well as saved the Company many millions of pounds. He has also ensured the overall compensation package has maintained its competitiveness through these changes. Michael has excellent consulting skills and is an exceptionally strong communicator. With his big firm consulting background I have no hesitation in recommending Michael as a Reward Consultant to other organisations, and would also engage Michael to help us tackle future Aon reward challenges.

Michael has exceptional ability in the design of rewards strategies and systems which are both aligned with business strategy and deliver greater value from money. A feature of his approach is to focus on total rewards and provide flexibility to staff whilst providing greater value for the total amount spent. Susanne Coolen, Compensation & Benefits Manager EMEA, Aon
Michael combines thorough knowledge and experience with the capability to sell, communicate an implement his plans, which positively impact the business results. He brings complex issues to comprehensive proportions. On top of that he acts with integrity and does not hesitate to share his knowledge (my best learning on the job experience). It was a real pleasure and honour to work for and with him. He is the best reward professional I know and the first I would consult.
